Adventure with us as we travel the country in search of history, great scenery, mass quantities of wild life, disc golf courses, microbreweries, fun people and some awesome campgrounds to park our home on wheels. We also hope to do a lot of dispersed camping in the Southwest as well. There will be sunny days and there will be cloudy days but a day without laughter is a day wasted!! ROLL ON!!

Another course!

Another can we catch a fish adventure was slated for this morning.  We bought a couple things at the Walmart not really knowing what they were for or if they would work.  We tied some fine fishing knots and headed to the lake.  Dick cast out and the line broke.  He says it wasn't the knot!  It has a bobber on it so it sat out there for a bit until it blew into shore and I snagged it with my line.  We had fun and Dick was the lucky fisherman today.  He caught 2.  I only saw one so the other doesn't count!

Headed out to a new disc golf course after lunch at Newaygo State Park.  Sign said closed but for Dick that mean Open, please come in.  It was a nice walk in the woods and the lake was one of the bigger ones we visited.  He played 18 and I walked around taking pictures of flowers and stuff.

Ice Cream at Shorty's on the way home was delicious.  I hate that soft serve stuff so was thrilled when I got a big scoop of Strawberry with strawberry chunks and it was amazing. Dick got the usual peanut butter chocolate thing that was as tall as the empire state building (or pretty close).  Needless to say he wasn't hungry for dinner.  Ice cream is after all a food group.

We are getting settled here in our temporary Michigan home and finding new things daily.  I am happy to get out in the wood and see the beauty of the flowers and trees.  Maybe we will run across some wild life one of these days.
