Adventure with us as we travel the country in search of history, great scenery, mass quantities of wild life, disc golf courses, microbreweries, fun people and some awesome campgrounds to park our home on wheels. We also hope to do a lot of dispersed camping in the Southwest as well. There will be sunny days and there will be cloudy days but a day without laughter is a day wasted!! ROLL ON!!

Moving on in March

Well, we have come to the end of our time in Yuma, AZ!  Will we come back??  Who knows, but we sure did have fun.  There is more to the desert than one may think and it is true that it is beautiful as is everything on this earth.  Just a different beauty!

We went to howl at the moon again with crazy people doing crazy things.  My brother Dan, his Wife Sandi and Nephew Ryan came with for the shits and giggles!!

We crossed the boarder one last time for our tequila fix!!

Our headlights were so far gone we thought we would have to replace but we have them refurbished and they are crystal.  Who would have thunk!!

I kept busy doing a bunch of needle point and of course knitting things I simply have no use for so feel free to ask if I have extra hats, gloves, mittens, slippers, dish rags. scarves, shawls, coasters or what ever next time you see me.  I will have most likely given them all away but you never know!!

Dick and all his Sunday morning disc golf buddies.  He had so much fun with this group and we hung out a bit at a few of there homes and even took one of the guys and his family to Mexico for the 1st time.  It was a miracle we got out of there alive and no one kidnaped the little boy!!

We have a  few extra pounds on our frames since being here!!  We had to try many different restaurants  to make sure they were making the food properly and that it tasted good.  We were not disappointed with any and it shows!!

I had to refrain from buying these because my son in law say I can't buy my grand daughter any more stuff. She is only 8 months old but when she needs ice cream, and if I am around,  I am gonna buy her what ever she wants!!

We went to a history museum and saw this empty case.  I am sure they were waiting for tomorrow to come so they could put yesterdays shit in it!!

The Center of the World!!  Who invents this stuff???  Californians!!!!!  Figures !!!!  No really, this was  a very cool place.  It was the history of the world carved in granite.  Just a ton of carving with everything from the big bang to todays history!  There were so many granite slabs that have yet to be carved.  You are supposed to place you foot on the center of the world and make a wish.  I did it just for shits and giggles so lets just see if it comes true.  I will keep you posted on those results in the future.

Part of the original Eiffel tower stair case.  We couldn't climb it for fear we would fall on the rusty steps and get stuck with a piece of metal and die.

Well that's it for Yuma!! We met some pretty awesome people and caught up with some pretty awesome people we already knew.  Life is good but now it is time to get back on the road.  We are heading to Virginia to be camp hosts at a small quite campground where we can feel like we are retired again.  We will meet more cool people along the way and when we get there and I will do my best to get back to writing and letting you all know of my near death experiences.
