Adventure with us as we travel the country in search of history, great scenery, mass quantities of wild life, disc golf courses, microbreweries, fun people and some awesome campgrounds to park our home on wheels. We also hope to do a lot of dispersed camping in the Southwest as well. There will be sunny days and there will be cloudy days but a day without laughter is a day wasted!! ROLL ON!!

Another adventure

Yesterday we adventured out to some farmers freshly turned over land to search for Indian arrowheads. We found some partials but no full arrowheads. Still had fun and a friend pointed out an eagles nest. Today Dick took pictures through binicculars. Hard to see even when zoomimg in but it was awesome. I have a feeling he will return to area and trespass to investigate and get better pictures!!

Waiting......

Halfway into our 1st month of not retiring and we are still hanging in Kentucky.  Love the people & love the campground but we are just getting anxious to get on the road.  We have been keeping busy walking around & having fires. Today we took an awesome nature walk and were trespassing on some pretty cool land.  Not my idea!  Dick loves to explore and when this happens....I dam near die!!!  Slight electrocution on a fence we had to climb over (one of 6) and straight up hill on a slippery rock/leaf covered bank. I decided to come back alive because who would write all these exciting blurbs if I died!!  Anyhow, the nature pictures from the hike turned out pretty good & I also included our colorful fire (we burned an old phone charger) and the moon picture from a couple days ago was awesome so here you go!!!

Enjoy and I will write again when something new and exciting happens.

In the Beginning....

A different kind of adventure begins.  Every one has had their world turned upside down or at the very least....sideways.  The brakes have been put on our wheels and we will stay put until it is safe to travel.  We are currently in Frankfort Kentucky at Elkhorn Campground and it is a safe healthy place to ride this out. Our plans to Alaska will have to wait until 2021. With the border closed and so much uncertainty we changed our course. We have current plans to head to Michigan to be in charge of activities at a family campground.  This to may change. Time will tell. Be safe out there and stay put. Our adventure for the day was to see if banana peels float!! THEY DO!
Here is our view out the window on this cloudy day!
